After studying Sociology with a specialization in Labor, Organization & Management at Erasmus University, I started my 9-year career at ING. Within this international and innovative company I worked in different positions. My focus was mainly on improving processes and initiating and leading changes within the organization. My energy, enthusiasm and genuine interest in change and the effect it has on employees within an organization had a positive influence on my projects. We soon worked more efficiently and effectively which was rewarded with satisfied customers and stakeholders. Deepening in Agile Transition change management; I decided to delve more into change management and in 2016 made the transition to Knab, part of Aegon. The goal was to professionalize Knab from a start-up to a scalable organization. Together with my team of 15 employees, we transformed the entire organization into a company that can work in an agile way based on Agile principles. At Telindus Netherlands, where I started in 2018, I was responsible for transforming the company from offering products to offering services. My work at Telindus Netherlands together with Knab and ING prepared me well for my self-employment. Through my company I can apply my enthusiasm, my knowledge and experience gained on a daily basis for a variety of clients. In my work, I see that every organization and every person has their own set of goals and values. Thus, there is not just one way to change as an organization. As an energetic change catalyst, process improver and team builder, I always try to find the balance between the available innovations and methodologies and the culture and vision of the organization. I make the translation from theoretical to practical application and ensure that an organization or team achieves results. That is what makes my work so interesting. My strength is to keep abreast of what is happening within business and society. I talk to clients a lot, and attend relevant seminars and events. Sometimes as a visitor, but often as a speaker. Through the knowledge I gain in this way, we can ensure that our methods change with the times and that your organization is also guided in the best possible way in the change process. I also like to stay busy outside of work. I then take time for activities that recharge me such as yoga, fitness, being outdoors and of course with enough attention to my family and friends.
